நீலகிரி, மதுரை, விருதுநகர், சிவகங்கை, ராமநாதபுரம், கோவை, திருப்பூர், திண்டுக்கல், தேனி ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களில் ஓரிரு இடங்களில் கனமழையும் பெய்ய வாய்ப்பு உள்ளதாக சென்னை வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

19 ஆம் மற்றும் 20 ஆம் தேதி தமிழ்நாடு, புதுவை மற்றும் காரைக்கால் பகுதிகளில் ஒரு சில இடங்களில் இடி மின்னலுடன் கூடிய லேசானது முதல் மிதமான மழை பெய்ய வாய்ப்பு உள்ளதாக சென்னை வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. மேலும் நீலகிரி, ஈரோடு, கிருஷ்ணகிரி, தருமபுரி, சேலம், கரூர், நாமக்கல், திருப்பத்தூர் மாவட்டங்களில் ஓரிரு இடங்களில் கனமழை பெய்ய வாய்ப்பு உள்ளதாக சென்னை வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

சென்னையை பொறுத்தவரையில் அடுத்த 48 மணி நேரத்திற்கு வானம் பொதுவாக மேகமூட்டத்துடன் காணப்படும். நகரின் ஒருசில பகுதிகளில் இடி மின்னலுடன் கூடிய லேசான மற்றும் மிதமான மழை பெய்யக்கூடும். அதிகபட்ச வெப்பநிலை 34 – 35 டிகிரி செல்சியஸ் மற்றும் குறைந்தபட்ச வெப்பநிலை 26 – 27 டிகிரி செல்சியஸ் அளவில் இருக்கும் எம்று வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
